ASWA football poll

Saks, Donoho and Piedmont all kept their positions in the statewide prep football poll this week, but Jacksonville dropped and Cleburne County didn’t break into the Top 10 after beating the Golden Eagles last week.
Saks remained No. 3 in Class 4A, Donoho remained No. 5 in Class 1A and Piedmont remained No. 10 in Class 3A.
Jacksonville fell from No. 4 to No. 9 in Class 4A after its home loss to Cleburne County. The Tigers remained out of the poll but were receiving votes.
Wellborn continues to receive votes in the Class 3A poll. The Panthers play Piedmont this week.
No. 3 Glencoe received one first-place vote in the Class 3A poll.
