By East Alabama Sports Today
The team of Cory Etter, Phil Griguhn, Randy Liles and Tom Liles shot 19-under-par 53 and Ben Padgett scored a rare hole-in-one on a par-4 to highlight the White Plains Band Boosters Scramble at Pine Hill Country Club Saturday.
Etter’s team won by a stroke with 15 birdies and two eagles, but the shot of the day clearly belonged to Padgett.
He aced the par-4 10th from 269 yards with a driver. It was his first career ace. The shot was witnessed by Charles Padgett, Britt Weems and Noel Johnson.
