BLUFFTON, Ohio — What a start.
Former Alexandria runner Lane Trapp broke the Lourdes University school record over six kilometers by more than a minute Friday in his college debut.
Trapp crossed the finish line at the Back to the Nature Preserve Invitational in a team-leading 20:49.21, breaking the record that was set last year by more than a minute.
He finished 37th in the race.
“We got some great performances tonight,” Lourdes coach David Espinoza said in a statement. “It was nice to have a pack where we had three guys break the school record. That shows promise for the season.”
