Spring Garden quarterback Ben Ivey rushed for 143 yards and six touchdowns as the third-ranked Panthers pulled away from a close game and beat Donoho 45-23 Friday night.
The Panthers (5-0) used a relentless rushing attack and constant defensive pressure to rally from deficits at halftime and the fourth quarter. They rushed for 252 yards in the second half.
Donoho led 23-22 in the fourth quarter, then Ivey scored on runs of 21, 13 and 38 yards to put spring the Panthers loose.
Dakota Lambert rushed for 192 yards on 21 carries and Quintin Downey had 97 yards on 18 carries for Spring Garden.
Donoho quarterback Garrett Steed was sharp, completing 11 of 13 passes for 221 yards, but was sacked nine times. Mitchell Baker caught five passes for 67 yards and rushed for 69 yards. Buddy Ray had three catches for 109 yards, including an 86-yard touchdown that gave Donoho its 23-22 lead in the fourth quarter.

The Panthers (3-1) were anxious to get back on the field after an open date following their first loss of the season.
Austin McQueen threw a 23-yard touchdown pass to Pat Harris and the Panthers spread the wealth around in their ground game. Jordan Montgomery rushed for a team-high 79 yards on 13 carries. Ked Harris had 67 yards on 13 carries and McQueen had 64 yards on 10 carries.

RAINBOW CITY – White Plains appeared to be on its way to a first victory but Court Coley scored on a 1-run with 7:28 to play to give Westbrook a two-point lead and the Warriors denied the Wildcats on their final two possessions.

CENTRE – Cherokee County coach Tripp Curry challenged his players to be a great team Friday night and the Warriors responded.
Facing a team with a prolific passing game, the Warriors (4-2) held their own to win their fourth in a row. Tyren Dupree rushed for 108 yards and Jacob Graves ran for two scores that allowed the Warriors to pull away from a game where the teams were trading touchdowns early on.
Graves closed the scoring in the first half with a 2-yard run and opened the second-half scoring with a 7-yard fourth-quarter run. The two touchdowns helped the Warriors break away from a 14-14 tie. Jaron Lockridge gave them a three-touchdown lead when he returned an interception for a score.
Carver quarterback Chappelle Wade completed 20 of 36 passes for 297 yards and three touchdowns.
