All-state hoops

18 Calhoun County players make various teams; Sacred Heart’s Stone, Foster, Anniston’s Dudley first-teamers, Talladega’s Miller 4A Coach of the Year. Dudley, Stone finalists for Player of the Year

Australian-born Jayden Stone came to Sacred Heart this year and led the Cardinals to a sixth straight trip to the Final Four. He is a finalist for 2A Player of the Year.

Talladega’s Chucky Miller was the 4A Boys Coach of the Year. He was the state’s winningest coach without a state title before winning it all this year.
