Fort Payne sweeps

OXFORD – Fort Payne swept the boys and girls titles in Ohatchee’s Creekbank Invitational at Choccolocco Park.
The girls went 1-2-4 to win the girls title going away. Ohatchee’s Jayda Fair broke up the block, finishing third in 20:37.36. Alexandria and Ohatchee finished third and fourth, respectively, as teams.
The boys put all five of its counters in the top 21, led by Ben Anderson’s second-place finish (16:59.93). Pell City’s Jack Lowe won the race in 16:25.30. Ohatchee was fourth and Alexandria fifth. – East Alabama Sports Today
