Angel Bozarth and Callyn Martin each hit three 3-pointers and both scored 13 points as the White Plains girls won their second straight to open coach Matt Ford’s first season, 53-39 over Pleasant Valley.
 
The Lady Wildcats hit nine 3-pointers in the game. Lily Ponder also scored in double figures (10 points) for White Plains.

Gadsden City 69, Sacred Heart 38

Teameah Gaddis scored 20 points and Camille Jenkins hit five of her team’s 10 3-pointers in the game as Gadsden City pulled away.
 
Sacred Heart led 9-7 early, then Gadsden City went on an 18-2 run to the end of the quarter to seize control of the game. The run was fueled by 3-pointersr and the Lady Titans forcing several turnovers on the inbounds play.
 
The Lady Titans put together a similar run in the fourth quarter to put it out of reach. Jenkins finished with 17 points.
 
Jordan Sabree led Sacred Heart with 14 points and eight rebounds. Miyah Harris had 12 points and Serena Hardy had nine points and 13 rebounds.
