Here are a few notes on the Calhoun County Basketball Tournament that starts Saturday at Saks; updated with Half-Court Scholarship Shot nominees

The game times for all the games in the Calhoun County Basketball Tournament have been set.
Initially, the plan was to set the weekday times after games were completed in order to keep schools with both teams playing on the same day close together.
Organizers adjusted after fans expressed concerned over trying to plan their Monday work days.
The tournament begins Saturday at Saks High School. Fans attending those games will be asked to leave the gym after each game for 13 minutes to allow the sanitizing chemicals time to activate.
OPEN PARKING: The games move to Jacksonville State starting Monday. JSU officials have told tournament organizers they would not be charging for parking.
SCHOLARSHIP SHOT: Here is the current list of nominated players for the F&M Bank Half-Court Scholarship Shot. The contestant this year for the $10,000 half-court shot will be the overall like-getter in balloting that begins Saturday on the F&M Bank Facebook page. The top boys and girls vote-getter will each receive a $500 scholarship
