Saks jumps into Class 3A at No. 9, giving Calhoun County three teams in this week’s statewide high school football poll.

Piedmont slips to No. 4 in 3A after last week’s loss at Ohatchee. Alexandria is No. 4 in 5A.

Handley remains No. 1 in 4A, plays No. 9 Cherokee County this week. Also, Wadley No. 7 in 1A, Spring Garden No. 6 in 2A and Clay Central No. 6 in 5A.
