Notes: Faith’s Carson Limbaugh finished fifth overall in his first race of the season.

Local qualifiers: Dakota Frank, Munford; Jesse Baldwin, Handley; Damon Divine, Etowah; Peyton Morrison, Etowah; Dayton Steele, Handley
Notes: Ashville placed all five counters in the top 11. Caden Johnson was White Plains’ best (ninth), then the Wildcats loaded points in 14-15-18-19. Jacksonville’s Evan Garner was sixth.

GIRLS RACE
Team qualifiers: White Plains, Oneonta, Ashville, Jacksonville
Race winner: Maddyn Conn, White Plains 19:36.37
Local qualifiers: Isabella Foshee, Munford; Destiny Moncrief, Munford; Gloria Talley, Munford
Notes: County champion Conn and teammate Anna Strickland went 1-3. Jacksonville’s Sarah Sloughfy was fifth.

CLASS 5A Section 3
At Lineville

Race winner: Woodrow Dean, Tallassee 16:41.09
Notes: Alexandria’s Jonah Medders finished fourth. Lincoln went 5-6-8-9-12.

GIRLS RACE
Team qualifiers: Alexandria, Beauregard, Lincoln, Holtville
Race winner: Molly Conway, Beauregard 21:19.05
Local qualifiers: Kenia Leyva, Clay Central; Katie Cochrum, Clay Central
Notes: Alexandria’s Michaela Moore, Michaela Watts and JoJo Watson finished 2-4-6.

CLASS 6A Section 5
At Cullman
BOYS RACE

Race winner: Jack Lowe, Pell City 16:29.3
Notes: Oxford county champion Noah George was third.

GIRLS RACE 
Team qualifiers: Fort Payne, Southside, Cullman, Arab
Race winner: Maddie Jackson, Fort Payne 20:04.12
Local qualifiers: Katie Keur, Oxford; Emerson Maniscalco, Oxford
Notes: Keur and Maniscalco finished 3-8.
