PIEDMONT –
It was a big Thursday night for both of Piedmont’s star players.

Alex Odam scored a career-high 43 points Thursday night to move closer to the 2,000-point plateau and lead the Bulldogs boys to their fifth straight win, 73-57 over Glencoe.

Odam hit all five of his 3-pointers in 24-point second quarter that rallied the Bulldogs for a 40-31 halftime lead. He had 29 in the first half. He needs just six for 2,000 career points, which should come Friday at Saks.

LeLe Ridley had 31 points and 22 rebounds in the girls game as Piedmont rolled, 73-48. She did most of her damage in the second half, scoring 25 points, to rally the Lady Bulldogs from a 32-29 halftime deficit.

Anna Pope scored 25 points for Piedmont, with 16 coming in the first half.
