Seventh-grader fills the box score in helping JCA’s girls open a stretch of three games in three days with a win
Seventh-grader Payten Walker got a shot with the big team Wednesday and filled up the box score with 16 points, 10 rebounds and six steals in leading Jacksonville Christian’s girls to a 46-10 victory over ASD.
The younger set got the chance to play three quarters because the Lady Thunder (10-10) rescheduled this game due to COVID protocols and have games with Donoho and Valley Head the next two days.
Kara Grace had eight points and five rebounds, Hannah Clayton had seven points and Ella Kines grabbed 10 rebounds.
