Track qualifiers

White Plains’ dynamic distance duo of Anna Strickland and Maddyn Conn are seeded first or second in the Class 4A-5A 800, 1600 and 3200 and favored to bring home state titles in those events at this week’s State Indoor Track Championships at the Birmingham Crossplex.
Strickland, a Jacksonville State signee, is seeded first in the 800 (2:25.89) and second in the 1,600 (5:23.20). Conn, a freshman, is seeded first in the 1600 (5:11.00) and 3200 (11:27.10) and second in the 800 (2:31.40).
Ohatchee’s Chris Ferguson is seeded first in the boys 1A-3A pole vault.
