Weaver places eight in finals, wins four weight classes, takes Junior High Battle for Calhoun County

Weaver won four weight classes and had four runner-ups to win Junior High Battle for Calhoun County Wednesday at Saks.

The Bearcats scored 141.5 points and won by 14 points over Alexandria. Cael Fulmer (95), Hayden Hise (103), Dylan Brown (125) and Malachi Flynn (155) all won weight divisions. Alexandria also scored four champions.

Wellborn, Ohatchee, Piedmont and Saks each had one champion.

The Calhoun County wrestling championship is Monday at Wellborn.
