TALLADEGA — E.J. Goss rushed for 124 yards and two touchdowns, and Handley beat Talladega 51-13 in Class 4A, Region 4 play in a game that was rescheduled from Friday to Thursday.
Handley improved to 7-1 overall, 3-0 region. Talladega is 0-7, 0-4.
Goss’ touchdown runs of 55 and two yards were part of Handley’s 27-point first quarter. Cannon Kyles also threw a 19-yard TD pass to Markavian Allen, and Tmarion Phillips recovered a fumble in the end zone.
Handley led 41-0 at halftime. Nemo Askew had a 45-yard touchdown run, and Cordan Patterson threw a 19-yard touchdown pass to Reid Giardina.
Riley Watkins added 75 yards rushing, and Askew had 59.
