Piedmont’s Glover sinks nine 3-pointers, and Proctor pours in 26 points as Piedmont sweeps Wellborn. Alexandria sweeps Weaver. Ohatchee sweeps Ragland. Pleasant Valley, Cleburne County boys victorious.

WELLBORN — Jaycee Glover made herself at home on the 3-point arc Thursday.
The senior hit nine of the Bulldogs’ 14 treys while scoring 28 points to lead the Bulldogs to a 65-28 victory over Wellborn.
Piedmont improved to 9-5 overall, 4-0 in Class 3A, Area 11.
Glover hit all of her field goals beyond the arc. She hit three treys each in the second and fourth quarters.
She also hit a free throw.

—Josie Young: 10 points (two 3-pointers).
—Ava Pope: eight points (two 3-pointers).
ALEXANDRIA 56, WEAVER 31: Leah Patterson hit four 3-pointers en route to 14 points, and Alexandria was victorious at Weaver on Thursday.

ALEXANDRIA 91, WEAVER 56: Jaylen Henderson poured in 29 points, including one 3-pointer, and Alexandria rolled to a big night, offensively. Henderson hit 12 field goals and was 4-for-4 at the foul line.
