Davis, Forrest, Wheeler shoot Alexandria boys to host rights for Class 5A, Area 12 tourney. Pleasant Valley boys improve to 4-0 in area play.

ALEXANDRIA — Drake Davis hit three 3-pointers on the way to 15 points, and Alexandria’s boys beat Southside 60-37 in Class 5A, Area 12 play.
The Valley Cubs (15-5, 3-0 area) clinched the right to play host to the area tournament.

PLEASANT VALLEY 38, RANBURNE 28: Braxton Salster scored 13 points to lead Pleasant Valley in a defensive, Class 2A, Area 9 battle.
