ATTALLA — Sarah Sloughy and Lexi Page scored two goals apiece, and Jacksonville’s girls beat Etowah 6-0 on Tuesday.
Willa Kate Walker and Emerson Weaver each added a goal.
Sloughfy also had three assists, and Kylie Terrell added an assist. The defense led by Emma Easterling, ensured the shutout win, with goalie Kelsie Sigler recording two saves.
COLLINSVILLE 2, DONOHO GIRLS 1: Donoho’s girls suffered their first loss of the season in a match that came down to penalty kicks.
Erin Turley scored Donoho’s goal.
The Falcons will play host to Hokes Bluff on Thursday and Faith Christian on Friday with hopes of clinching an area title.
WEAVER GIRLS 3, HOKES BLUFF 2: Goalie Lena Johannson recorded 33 saves, and Brooke Jones recorded the winning penalty kick in the second round of PKs.
Weaver also got a goal from Erionna Richmond.
