OXFORD — Berkley Mooney went 2-for-4 with a home run and three RBIs, and Oxford beat visiting Pleasant Valley 9-5 on Thursday.
Ashlyn Burns went 3-for-3 with a triple, a double, two runs and three RBIs as Oxford improved to 18-16.
Jayla Jackson added a 3-for-3 performance with a triple, a run and an RBI. She was also the winning pitcher, allowing eight hits and two earned runs with four strikeouts in seven innings.
Adajiah Wilson went 2-for-4 with a double and two runs, and Jordyn Alexander added an RBI.
For Pleasant Valley (14-17-1), Madyson Cromer went 2-for-3 with a double, a run and an RBI, and Gracee Ward was 2-for-4 with an RBI.
Lily Henry had a triple and scored a run, and Aubree Cromer had a double and two runs.
PIEDMONT 6, CHEROKEE COUNTY 0: Ava Pope and Cayla Brothers homered, and Savannah Smith pitched a five hit shutout with 10 strikeouts as Piedmont improved to 18-9.
Brothers and Pope each had two RBIs.
Piedmont also got an RBI apiece from Carson Young and Jaycee Glover.
WEAVER 15, RAGLAND 0: Mckennah Homesley went 2-for-3 with two runs and three RBIs, and Kynlee Fulmer pitched a three-hitter with six strikeouts as Weaver improved to 17-7.
Sydney Bitzer, Alana Cooper and Anna Shirvinski drove in two runs apiece. Bitzer was 2-for-2 with two doubles and scored three runs, and Cooper was 2-for-3 with a run. Shirvinski singled and scored a run.
Jadyn Smith singled, scored two runs and had an RBI.
SAKS 12, RANBURNE 4: Senior Miani Burton went 3-for-4 with three RBIs, and Saks concluded the regular season with its second consecutive win.
Sophomores Caylee Miller and Adrianna Stevens also went 3-for-4. A.J. Twymon also wnet 3-for-4 and provided a defensive spark.
“She left it all on the field tonight for our seniors,” Saks coach Michelle Ogle said. “She had an amazing game with several diving catches, including a double play that came from a caught fly ball.”
SPRING GARDEN 8, APPALACHIAN 2: Addie Word had a double and two RBIs, and Spring Garden improved to 22-9.
Avery Steward went 2-for-4 with two runs and an RBI and pitched a complete game, allowing five hits and two earned runs with three strikeouts.
Maggie Jarrett, Layla Ingram and Lillian McCain each had a single and RBI.
Hannah Ingram went 2-for-4 with a double and two RBIs, and Rylie Ham went 2-for-2.
MUNFORD 6, JACKSONVILLE 3: Tayla Marlow went 2-for-3 with two RBIs as Munford improved to 22-9-1.
Emma Gaither went 2-for-4 with an RBI. Jenna Gaither and Ashlyn Bishop each had a single and RBI.
Emma Gaither got the win, allowing four hits and three earned runs with seven strikeouts in five innings.
For Jacksonville, Teah Evans had a double and two RBIs, and Ke’Asiah Williams went 2-for-3 with an RBI.
