WHITE PLAINS — Gleymar Perez and Catcher Jenkins scored a goal apiece, and White Plains’ boys beat Cherokee County 2-1 on Monday to advance to the Class 4A quarterfinals.

The Wildcats (11-6) will play host to Westbrook Christian (13-12-1), which eliminated Jacksonville 3-0 on Monday, at a day and time to be determined.

Axl Jenkins had an assist for White Plains, and Hugo Mondragon made five saves in goal.
