Three Monsters homer, and a three-run ninth propels the Monsters to an 18-17 victory over Brookhaven on the road.

ATLANTA — Rashad Robinson’s RBI single capped the Choccolocco Monsters’ three-run ninth inning, and it stood up for an 18-17 victory in Monday’s Sunbelt League action against the Brookhaven Bucks.
The Monsters improved to 11-6 and remain a half game back of the lead-leading Gainsville GolDiggers.
The first two runs of the Monsters’ ninth-inning rally came when Taylor Harris reached on an error, scoring Fisher Moss and Trey Higgins. Moss singled to lead off the inning, and Higgins followed up with a walk.
Jake.Goolsby, Tate Morris and Sebastian.Collender homered for the Monsters. Morris’ three-run shot was part of a six-run first inning, and Collender’s three-run shot highlighted the four-run seventh.
The two teams went through 10 pitchers. William Tarpley, the second of four Monsters pitchers, got the win.
