Oxford downs Spring Garden for 30th victory of the season. Ohatchee sweeps Jacksonville, Cherokee County. PV sweeps Gadsden City, Gaston. Donoho improves to 5-0 in area. Faith victorious.

OXFORD — Oxford swept Spring Garden 28-26, 25-16, 25-23 on Tuesday to improve to 30-6 on the season.

The Yellow Jackets’ top performers: 

—Payton Brooks: 43 assists, 13 digs.
—Ava Thomas: 20 kills, eight digs, one block.
—Daelyn Bozeman: eight kills, 14 digs.
—Mileah Prince 10 kills, six digs.
—Jaslyn Montgomery: seven kills.
—Arilyn Pool: 12 digs.

OHATCHEE: Playing at Cherokee County, the Indians beat Jacksonville 25-17, 25-23 and Cherokee County 25-22, 25-21 to reach 26-6 on the season.

Ohatchee’s top performers:

—Alanah Fitch: 19 kills, 26 assists, five digs.
—Brett Finn: four kills, three aces, two blocks.
—Rebecca Henderson: 15 kills, three aces, five digs.
—Kate Ryan: 18 assists, six digs.
—Emily Riddle: seven kills, two digs, one block.
—Ayla Crook: two kills, two digs.
—Bailey Fowler: five kills.
—Savannah Reaves: three assists, eight digs. 

DONOHO: The Falcons beat Wellborn 25-15, 25-14, 25-13 to up to 21-10 overall, 5-0 in Class 3A, Area 9.

—Sam Wakefield: 17 kills, one assist, three aces, 13 digs.

PLEASANT VALLEY: The Raiders beat Gadsden City 25-8, 25-11 and beat Gaston 25-6, 25-8, 25-11 to improve to 4-0 in Class 2A, Area 13 play.

—Madison Schwabe: 16 kills, nine aces, nine digs, two blocks, one assist.
