Ohatchee sweeps to title of Glencoe Invitational, and Pleasant Valley takes runner up. Oxford runner up at Supreme Courts, and Donoho goes 2-2. Cherokee County sweeps Block Out Cancer quad.

GLENCOE — Ohatchee swept through the Glencoe Invitational on Saturday, beating Anniston 25-6, 25-7, St. Clair County 25-11, 25-23, Gaston 25-17, 25-11, Pell City 25-12, 25-17 and Pleasant Valley 25-15, 25-22.

The Indians’ top performers on the day:

—Alanah Fitch: 18 kills, 49 assists, eight aces, eight digs, one block.
—Brett Finn: five kills, seven aces, three blocks.
—Rebecca Henderson: 32 kills, 16 aces, seven digs, three blocks.
—Kate Ryan: one kill, 21 assists, six aces, two digs.
—Emily Riddle: 12 kills, two assists, two aces, one dig, three blocks.
—Ayla Crook: 10 kills, one ace, seven digs.
—Bailey Fowler: 11 kills, one ace, one dig.
—Savannah Reaves: one kill, two assists, 18 digs,

PLEASANT VALLEY: The Raiders finished as runners up in the Glencoe Invitational, beating Glencoe 27-25, 25-19, Lincoln 25-18, 25-20, Pell City 25-17, 25-21 and Glencoe 25-8, 25-14 before falling to Ohatchee 15-25, 22-25 in the final.

OXFORD: The Yellow Jackets finished as gold bracket runners up at Supreme Courts in Guntersville, beating New Hope 25-10, 25-16, Hartselle 25-21, 25-22, Gardendale 25-14, 25-21, Brewer 25-15, 25-16 and Priceville 25-13, 25-19 before falling to Chelsea 21-25, 16-25 in the final.
