Benjamin leads balanced effort as Weaver boys top White Plains. Saks girls score victory over Hokes Bluff.

WEAVER — Phoxton Benjamin led four Weaver players in double figures with 14 points, and the Bearcats beat visiting White Plains 56-44 on Friday.
Kaden Gooden added 13 points, including three 3-pointers. KeShawn Allen scored 11 points, and Harper Williams added 10.
White Plains’ Bryson Cheatwood scored all of his team-high 10 points in the third quarter, with two 3-pointers, and Harper Hall hit three threes en route to nine points.
Girls
SAKS 60, HOKES BLUFF 54: Madison Turner turned in 17 points and 12 rebounds to lead Saks’ girls to a victory over visiting Hokes Bluff.
Sania Angel added 17 points, with two 3-pointers, and Alonna Crews scored 15 points.
