Big third quarter keys big night for Faith’s Anderson. Ware leads way for Cleburne County boys. Westbrook girls light it up from 3-point line. Montgomery powers the post for Oxford.

ANNISTON — Colin Anderson scored 16 of his 26 points in the third quarter, including two 3-pointers, and Faith Christian’s boys downed Cedar Bluff 59-49 on Wednesday in Faith’s Thanksgiving tourney.
Anderson hit four threes overall.
Colton Reese hit two threes on the way to 14 points, and Parker Robertson added eight points.
Kadair Gleen led Cedar Bluff with 21 points.
CLEBURNE COUNTY 54, RANDOLPH COUNTY 37: Lyric Ware hit two 3-pointers and hit six of nine free throws on the way to 20 points, and Cleburne County won in Faith Christian’s Thanksgiving tourney.
The Tigers also got nine points from N Turley and seven apiece from Koby Hale and Cavin Bates.
Braden Reaves paced Randolph County, hitting three 3-pointers en route to 12 points.
Girls
WESTBROOK CHRISTIAN 53, RANDOLPH COUNTY 47: Also playing in Faith Christian’s Thanksgiving tourney, Westbrook Christian hit 11 3-pointers en route to victory over Randolph County.
Kylee Wyatt hit three threes while tying Jordan Brooks’ team-high 11 points. Brooks hit two threes.
Three threes accounted for Raylee Neal’s nine points. The Warriors had more 4-pointers than two-point field goals (seven).
Lakaiyah Baker paced Randolph County with 21 points, and Anna Grace Henderson added 16 points.
OXFORD 45, LANETT 42: Playing in Opelika’s Thanksgiving tourney, Oxford got 15 points from Shay Montgomery on the way to victory. Bri Wilson and Ava Thomas added eight points apiece.
