Player of the year: Mason Mims, Oxford, QB, 6-3, 210, Sr.

Game of the year: On Sept. 20, Mims throws a conversion pass to Nick Richardson with 21 seconds to play, and Oxford comes from a 14-point deficit to beat Mountain Brook on the road, 29-28, in a key Class 6A, Region 6 game.
