RANBURNE 45, RANDOLPH COUNTY 6: Brylee Bailey scored a game-high 11 points, and Ranburne held Randolph County scoreless in the second and fourth quarters. Aubrey Anglin added 10 points, including two 3-pointers.

WHITE PLAINS 37, WEAVER 28: White Plains’ Brooksly Thielker scored a game-high 20 points as the Wildcats prevailed in a clash of teams left shorthanded by illness, a youth retreat and holiday travel.

Callie Sprayberry added nine points on three 3-pointers, and White Plains held Weaver scoreless in the fourth quarter.

Kimora Miles led Weaver with nine points, and Brenley Russell added seven.

CENTRAL-CLAY 40, PIEDMONT 34: Mia Lindsey led Central-Clay with 13 points, and Nariah Brock added 12 as the Vols advanced to Saturday’s championship game.

Josie Young led Piedmont with nine points, and Carson Young added eight.

OHATCHEE 45, CLEBURNE COUNTY 27: Up 20-16 going into the fourth quarter, Ohatchee scored 25 fourth-quarter points after going scoreless in the third.

Emily Riddle led Ohatchee with 17 points. Lindsey Zurchin hit three 3-pointers to account for her nine points.

Cleburne County’s Hannah Turley hit two 3-pointers on the way to a team-high 15 points.

WEAVER 60, WHITE PLAINS 46: Keshawn Allen paced Weaver with 18 points. Kaden Gooden and D.J. Marbury scored 11 apiece, and Harper Williams added eight.

White Plains’ Bryson Cheatwood scored a team-high 13 points, including two 3-pointers. Crew Martin hit two treys on the way to 10 points, and Ethan Turner scored nine.

CLEBURNE COUNTY 61, RANBURNE 48: Cavin Bates led Cleburne County with 17 points, and Lyric Ware hit 11 of 14 free throws on the way to 11 points.

Trent Dean added 11 points.

Ranburne’s Aiden Whitman scored a game-high 25 points, hitting three 3-pointers, and Kalon Smith added 10 points.

SPRING GARDEN 58, CENTRAL-CLAY 55: Jacob Welsh’s putback of his own miss and free throw with 17.3 seconds left made the difference as the Panthers reached Saturday’s title game.

Welsh’s old-fashioned three-point play came after Central-Clay’s Zion Newell was called for double dribble while bringing the ball up court.

Central-Clay had two possessions in the final 17.3 seconds, one after Jacob Welsh missed two free throws, but Dashaun Gibbons and Tyler Boyd each missed a contested 3-point try.

John Welsh’s bucket on a Jacob Welsh assist tied the game at 55-55 with 1:12 to play. Jacob Welsh got an offensive rebound before making the pass.

John Welsh scored a game-high 25 points, hitting all 13 of his free throws. The Panthers hit 23 of 28 free throws overall.

Jacob Welsh finished with 14 points.

Boyd paced Central-Clay with 13 points. Kevin Cherry added 12, Newell 11 and Gibbons nine.

OHATCHEE 69, FAITH CHRISTIAN 43: Jake Roberson scored 22 points, including a two-handed dunk in the third quarter, and Ohatchee’s boys joined the school’s girls in making it to the tournament finals.

Jayden Heard’s 14-point night included two 3-pointers, and Alston Carroll hit three treys on the way to 11 points.

Parker Robertson led Faith with 10 points. Colin Anderson scored nine points on three 3-pointers, including a buzzer-beating halfcourt shot just before halftime.
