Anniston boys extend winning streak to 10 games. Piedmont, Faith Christian boys, girls sweep. Top-ranked Spring Garden boys, girls win. Coosa Christian boys get 12th win.

MUNFORD — Make it 10 wins in a row for Anniston’s boys.
Caleb Ackles led the way with 18 points, and the Bulldogs beat Munford 59-41 in Class 4A, Area 8 play Monday.
Anniston improved to 13–3 overall.
Kyree Lewis hit three 3-pointers while scoring 17 points. Jakorie Carr added 10 points, and Dylan Goodson added nine.
PIEDMONT 60, OHATCHEE 57: Ishmael Bethel scored 16 of his 22 points in the second half as Piedmont rallied from a 12-point deficit in the fourth quarter to win in Class 3A, Area 12 play.
The Bulldogs improved to 11-4 overall, 2-1 in area play.
Rollie Pinto scored 13 of his 20 points in the second half and hit three 3-pointers on the night.
Jake Roberson paced four Ohatchee players in double figures with 15 points. The Indians also got 12 from Jayden Heard, 11 from Colby Hester and 10 from Brayden Collins.
SPRING GARDEN 70, WEAVER 53: John Welsh erupted for 32 points as Class 1A top-ranked Spring Garden (19-0) won a non-area game at Weaver.
Noah Barber added 12 points, including two 3-pointers. Jake Welsh and Connor Bates added nine points apiece, and Jaylen Baker-Brown added eight.
KeShawn Allen led Weaver with 17 points. The Bearcats got 12 points from Kaden Gooden and 10 from Harper Williams.
FAITH CHRISTIAN 86, RAGLAND 37: Parker Robertson hit two 3-pointers on the way to 23 points, and Faith outscored Ragland 35-4 in the second quarter en route to a rout.
Colton Reese hit a 3-pointer while scoring 18 points, and Colin Anderson’s 15-point night included three 3-pointers. Toby Ricard scored nine points.
COOSA CHRISTIAN 57, WESTBROOK CHRISTIAN 54: Freshman Kylen Johnson scored 14 points to lead Coosa Christian, which improved to 12-4.
Senior Eli Motes had a double-double, with 10 points and 11 rebounds.
SAND ROCK 64, PLEASANT VALLEY 54: Tyde Traffenstedt led Sand Rock with points, and Sand Rock picked up a Class 2A, Area 13 win at Pleasant Valley.
The Wildcats got nine points apiece from Gatlin Cox, Jonas Browder and Will Cleere.
Pleasant Valley’s Hunter Sparks scored a game–high 20 points. Braxton Salster added 11 and Jaden Sparks nine.
Girls
PIEDMONT 54, OHATCHEE 29: Carson Young hit four 3-pointers on the way to 15 points, and Piedmont won in Class 3A, Area 12 play.
The Bulldogs improved to 8-9 overall, 3-1 area.
Amiyah Thomas scored all 10 of her points in the first half, and Piedmont got eight points with two 3-pointers from Josie Young.
Payten Walker led Ohatchee with 11 points. Two 3-pointers accounted for Lindsey Zurchin’s six points.
SPRING GARDEN 75, GADSDEN CITY 49: Top-ranked Spring Garden’s Ace Austin hit four of seven 3-point shots on the way to 29 points and a triple-double.
She also had 11 assists and 10 rebounds to go with six steals as the Panthers upped to 23-1.
Maggie Jarrett hit five of six 3-point shots en route to 21 points. She also had five steals.
Three 3-point shots accounted for Kristen Lewis’ nine points.
FAITH CHRISTIAN 41, RAGLAND 28: Anna Kate Robertson led Faith Christian with 16 points. Serenity Pate scored 14, and Emma Shaw scored nine.
