Piedmont’s Pinto erupts for six threes, and Piedmont boys, girls sweep. Jacksonville boys, girls clinch area hosting rights. Alexander, Wilson lead way as Oxford boys, girls sweep. Alexandria sweeps White Plains. Coosa Christian sets school scoring record, and Ranburne girls up to 17-2.

PIEDMONT — Rollie Pinto hit six 3-pointers to account for his 18 points, and Piedmont beat visiting Westbrook Christian 62-49 on Friday to avenge and loss from earlier this season in Class 3A, Area 12 play.
The Bulldogs improved to 12-5 overall, 4-1 in area play.
Ishmael Bethel added 13 points, including one 3-pointer. Colton Proctor scored 12 points and Taylon Swain 10.
Titus Jones led Westbrook with 17 points.
JACKSONVILLE 79, LINCOLN 51: Kamouri Harmon exploded for 21 of his 25 points in the first quarter, and Jacksonville’s boys clinched the right to play host to the Class 5A, Area 11 tournament.
Jacksonville improved to 13-10 overall, 4-0 area.
Harmon hit four 3-pointers.
Sean Herbert added 15 points, and Calvan Hill’s 10 points included two 3-pointers.
OXFORD 66, JASPER 57: Jaylen Alexander scored 14 of his game-high 24 points in the third quarter, and Oxford improved to 17-5.
Alexander hit all three of his 3-pointers in the third quarter.
Marcus Perry Jr. hit four 3-pointers on the way to 14 points, and Jayden Lewis added nine points.
ALEXANDRIA 57, WHITE PLAINS 42: Quendavion McDowell led the way with 17 points, and Alexandria improved to 20-3.
Jaylen Alexander hit three 3-pointers en route to 14 points, and Garrett Haynes hit two threes in an eight-point performance.
Bryson Cheatwood and Gavin Sheely led White Plains with nine points apiece. Sheely hit three 3-pointers and Cheatwood one.
COOSA CHRISTIAN 84, DONOHO 66: Kylen Johnson erupted for 42 points, half of Coosa Christian’s school-record 84, as the Conquerors (14-5) won on the road.
Eli Motes and Grayson Malone added 11 points apiece. J’Alan Terry scored nine points, Jaxon Peek eight and D.J. Mackey three on a record-setting night.
Girls
JACKSONVILLE 71, LINCOLN 23: Neveah Nicholson hit four 3-pointers en route to a game-27 points, and Jacksonville’s girls clinched the right to play host to the Class 5A, Area 11 tournament.
The Golden Eagles improved to 18-6, 4-0 area.
Alexis Phillips added 11 points, including two 3-pointers, and Jayci Taylor scored nine points.
Lincoln’s Aubrey Machen hit two 3-pointers while scoring 14 points.
OXFORD 47, JASPER 35: Bri Wilson’s 12 points included three 3-pointers, and Oxford improved to 14-8.
Ava Thomas added 11 points, including one 3-pointer, and Takayvia Boyd scored 10 points, including one 3-pointer.
PIEDMONT 43, WESTBROOK CHRISTIAN 26: Josie Young and Amiyah Thomas scored 10 points apiece, and Piedmont improved to 9-10 overall, 4-1 in Class 3A, Area 12.
Young hit two 3-pointers.
Carson Young and Morgan Studdard added seven points apiece. Young hit two 3-pointers and Studdard one.
Avery Snead paced Westbrook with 12 points, and Addi Hammontree added nine.
ALEXANDRIA 56, WHITE PLAINS 17: Allyssa Hunt hit five of 13 3-pointers and paced Alexandria with 21 points.
Charlee Parris added 10 points, and Sumira Duncan scored seven.
Abbie Dickeson led White Plains with six points.
RANBURNE 60, HORSESHOE BEND 41: Brylee Bailey scored 17 points to lead Ranbure (17-2) to victory in Class 2A, Area 8 play.
Jadie Phillips’ 15 points included four 3-pointers, and Aubrey Anglin’s 12 points included three 3-pointers.
Maranda Ralston added nine points (one 3-pointer).
