Allen passes 1,000 career points as Weaver boys top Saks. Anniston extends winning streak to 14 games. Gannaway leads JCA to victory. Cleburne County boys roll. Spring Garden girls top North Sand Mountain. Ranburne girls get 20th win, and Saks gets 15th.

SAKS — KeShawn Allen passed 1,000 career points, and Weaver’s boys beat Saks 62-50 on Thursday.
Allen came into the game needing nine points and scored 18. He crossed 1,000 on a contested layup in the third quarter, after Kaden Gooden’s steal and pass.
Allen also got 10 rebounds and three steals.
Weaver (15-12) also got 14 points apiece from Junior Allen and Harper Williams, and D.J. Marbury added 10 points. Junior Allen matched KeShawn’s team-high 10 rebounds, and Marbury had nine.
Christian Hall led Saks with 13 points, including two 3-pointers. Jayden Culpepper’s 12 points included two treys, and Lajuan Curry hit two treys on the way to 10 points.
ANNISTON 70, WHITE PLAINS 38: Kyree Lewis’ 22 points included two 3-pointers, and Anniston made it 14 consecutive wins to improve to 17–3 on the season.
Caleb Ackles added 20 points, Ja’korie Carr 15 and Dylan Goodson nine.
Ethan Turner led White Plains with 14 points, including two 3-pointers, and Bryson Cheatwood scored nine points.
JACKSONVILLE CHRISTIAN 49, DONOHO 45: Jesse Gannaway scored 22 points and pulled down eight rebounds as JCA improved to 14-5.
Noah Lee added 12 points and 13 rebounds, and Wil Hudson scored nine points.
CLEBURNE COUNTY 67, RANBURNE 38: Lyric Ware paced Cleburne County with 21 points. Mathew Wilson scored 18, and Cade Shubert chipped in 10.
Girls
SPRING GARDEN 50, NORTH SAND MOUNTAIN 45: Ace Austin hit six of 11 3-point shots on the way to 32 points, and the Panthers improved to 28-1. She also grabbed nine rebounds.
Maggie Jarrett added 10 points.
RANBURNE 57, CLEBURNE COUNTY 20: Layla Mitchell scored 14 points, and Ranburne improved to 20-2. Brylee Bailey added 13 points.
Hannah Turley led Cleburne County with 10 points.
SAKS 49, WEAVER 33: Alonna Crews hit all three of her 3-point shots on the way to 17 points, and Saks upped to 15-4 overall, 6-0 in Class 3A, Area 9.
Sania Angel added 14 points for the Wildcats.
Hollyn Dunn led Weaver with seven points.
